Men’s Doubles registration opens soon (really soon)
Registration for the EPC Men’s Doubles Tournament Saturday, Aug. 23, will open at just after midnight tonight.
Players must register as pairs. If you don’t yet have someone to play with, check the “need a partner” box on your registration form and we’ll match you up.
The double-elimination contest is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to about 1 p.m. Top finishers in the winners bracket will battle the best in the not-winners bracket for the championship, the cash and the notoriety.
A $20 EPC membership is required. The tournament fee is $70 per team. The registration deadline is midnight Wednesday, Aug. 20.
“If we struggle to get to 16 teams, like with Women’s Doubles, we may have to adjust the registration cutoff as we did with that deadline,” tournament director Mick Pearce said.
