Survey Results

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our club survey! We got 147 responses. It should be a big help to the board going forward on where we want to put our focus.

Here are some things we learned from the survey:

  • The overwhelming concern of most members is more courts and more court times. We're on it!

  • The thing people care about least is, somewhat surprisingly, tournaments and social events.

  • We prefer playing 9-noon mostly.

  • We're old. 72% of survey respondents were 65+.

  • While we're sure we have under 45 year-old members in the club, no one under 45 responded to the survey. The under 45s are lame (or too busy). They probably don't read the newsletter either so won't know that I insulted them. Nobody tell.

  • 40% of us consider ourselves advanced. 60% of us consider ourselves intermediates. No one who answered the survey considers themselves a beginner. All of our children are above average.

Special thanks to club member Steve Nurney of Nurney Marketing who put together and ran the survey for us.

Spring Fling

I messed up last newsletter. The Spring Fling is our first social event of the year, not a women’s tournament as I said. Plans are still underway for the social so stay tuned for dates and details. Gig Blitz Homes is returning as the sponsor of the event! Nobody tell Debbie I’m making a mess of her newsletter.
